Real Food - Real Good.

LET’S GET REAL.

There isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ way of eating when it comes to fertility but there’s no denying that a well balanced diet (and I don’t mean a diet diet) is a good way of getting vitamins and minerals in every day.

Governing health bodies in many countries associate healthy eating with the consumption of ‘whole foods’. We’re talking things like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, good sources of meat, nuts, etc that are as close to their natural state as possible. REAL FOODS. That way we reap the benefits of the nutrients contained within those foods.

I’m not saying all food that has been processed is unhealthy or not fertility-friendly, there are plenty of good foods that go through some form of processing, hello tinned mackerel (yep, that’s classed as processed due to the canning method).

Next time you’re whipping up your dinner think about how many foods are on your plate that you bought in their natural form or close to it. Hunt out your nearest farmer’s market or local farm shop or perhaps check out some of the great veg/meat delivery box options out there.

Think real food first.
